Abstract

|
Background: This study was conducted to understand the meaning of experience of blended simulation emphasizing health assessment.
Methods: Data analysis faithfully followed the procedure according to Colaizzi (1978)¡¯s phenomenological analysis method, and data were analyzed simultaneously with collection.
Results: According to data analysis, 18 theme clusters and 4 categories; ¡®future class model¡¯, ¡®fulfillment of personalized learning¡¯, ¡®experience of growth¡¯ and ¡®tasks to be settled¡¯ were obtained from 64 semantic compositions.
Conclusion: Based on this result, this study suggests the need for further research to develop and run diverse simulation modules in the health assessment curriculum and verify their effects. It is also thought that there will be a need to develop blending simulation for other different curricula other than health assessment and apply this to nursing education.
